The General Department of Criminal Investigation, represented by the Department of Combating Cybercrimes, has arrested 31 people who documented and published acts of recklessness on the social media sites, and also published content inciting others to drive recklessly – a practice that endangers the lives of others intentionally in violation of traffic laws.

The Al-Rai daily has learned all those arrested have been referred to the competent authority to take legal measures against them.
The daily quoting sources from the General Administration of Security Relations and Media confirmed that the Criminal Security Sector continues to launch expanded campaigns on various social media sites to monitor, follow up and refer accounts that publish and document acts that violate to the Prosecution.

The security institution calls on everyone to cooperate with the security authorities. concerned with reporting such sites that violate the laws and regulations in the country.
