The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media at the Ministry of Interior stated that in response to the appeals of the owners of small projects “restaurants/cafes”, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah ordered to extend the application of the new traffic requirements to owners of “delivery companies” three months which means the law will come into effect on January 1, 2023 instead of October 1, 2022.
This comes within the framework of the keenness of the senior leadership of the Ministry of Interior to support Kuwaiti owners of small projects “restaurants – cafes”, due to their reliance on delivery companies to promote their trade.
