The Ministry of Health announced 295 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total infections to 5,278 while 2 deaths were reported as well, raising the total fatalities to 40.

The ministry’s spokesman, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, said at that regarding the two deaths, the first case is a Kuwaiti citizen of 74 years old, and the second case was an Indian national who was 58 years old.

The breakdown is as follows

2 New deaths: = 1 Case of a Citizen (74yrs)
= 1 Case of Indian resident. (58yrs)

2 Cases related to travel: = 1 Case of Citizens related to travel to the UK.
= 1 Case of Citizens related to travel to France.

293 Cases of contact: = 53 Cases of Citizens.
= 85 Cases of Indian residents.
= 65 Cases of Egyptian residents.
= 30 Cases of Bangladeshi residents.

And other nationalities gives a total of 5,278 patients were infected.
