The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 261 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 146,710, since the outbreak of the pandemic. 1 patient died, bringing the death toll to 913.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the number of people receiving medical care in intensive care departments reached 56 cases, bringing the total number of cases confirmed to have (Covid 19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 3198 cases.
He added that the number of swabs conducted in the past 24 hours reached 4,662, bringing the total to 1190,287 tests.
Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 242 infections had recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 142,599 cases.
