26 judges tested positive for the coronavirus infection, Al-Qabas daily reported, quoting an informed source. Some of them caught the virus coming in contact with an infected person. Only recently 10 Kuwaiti lawmakers reportedly caught the virus.

The source said, that these infections will not disrupt the sessions, but may cause a delay because the judge delegated to offset the shortage has other sessions and needs a longer time to hold two sessions on the same day.

The source called on the Ministry of Health to conduct swabs and tests on the judiciary facility, similar to other government facilities so that all members of the judiciary are safe.
