The suicide cases in Kuwait continue to rise and according to records 25 people have taken their own lives since the beginning of 2022 until last Sunday.
Statistics show that suicides in Kuwait increased by 50% during the past two years, reports a local Arabic daily.
The daily quoting sources said a majority of Asians committed suicide during the past 70 days.
Those aged between 19 and 35 constituted 60% and between 36 and 65 years constituted 36% of the suicides.
According to the sources, 80 percent of those who ended their lives are men men and the Indians took the lead with 60%, while Kuwaitis make about 8 percent.
