The General Traffic Department, headed by Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, issued the statistical data indicating 23,044 traffic violations, in addition to 13 juvenile violations which were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution for driving the vehicles of their relatives without driving licenses, as well as 34 individuals who were referred to the traffic police over serious violations. The statistical data covered the period from 24 to 30 December 2022.
Moreover, the traffic police transferred 75 vehicles to the impoundment garage and arrested 17 wanted individuals. The authorities also referred two cases to the General Administration for Drug Control for possession of drugs and intoxicating substances, in addition to seizing 7 wanted vehicles.
