he General Department of Investigation has initiated a comprehensive security campaign in four key areas: Mahboula, Fahaheel, Khaitan, and Sulaibkhat. This operation has resulted in the apprehension of 23 individuals of Asian nationality, all found in possession of a significant stash of homemade alcohol amounting to 540 bottles, reported Al-Anbaa.
The Public Morals Protection Department, operating under the General Department of Criminal Investigation, has made substantial strides in curbing behaviors that undermine public morals. In Hawalli Governorate, particularly in the regions of Salmiya and Mahboula, this specialized unit has arrested 27 individuals on charges related to activities deemed contrary to public morals.
These individuals were found operating in various massage institutes and establishments, representing diverse nationalities and allegedly offering services in exchange for monetary compensation.
A security source, emphasized that all the accused individuals implicated in these cases have been promptly referred to the appropriate legal authorities. This underscores the commitment of law enforcement to ensure justice and maintain societal order.
