The coronavirus (COVID-19) infected 221 people in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, raising the infection cases to 147,192, since the outbreak of the pandemic.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, stated to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the number of people receiving medical care in the intensive care departments reached 54 cases, bringing the total number of cases confirmed to have (Covid 19) disease and are still receiving the necessary medical care to 3166 cases.
He added that the number of swabs conducted in the past 24 hours reached 5804, bringing the total to 1202724.
Ministry of Health announced earlier today that 204 infections had been cured in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 143,113.
