The Medical Emergency Department dealt with 218 complaints in separate areas due to the rain, from dawn Friday until seven in the evening.
The reports included 33 traffic accidents, in addition to 185 communications related to the transfer of sick cases from homes to health centers and public hospitals, reports a local Arabic daily. The hospitals’ accident departments were prepared to receive any injuries caused by the rain.
