During an inspection in the  Hawally Governorate, 407 violations were cited and 3,860 warnings were issued. Two orders were issued to shut ladies’ salons as they did not comply with the health procedures issued, from last August until last Saturday,  Al-Seyassah daily reported.

The occupational safety specialist at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) Engr Hanan Al-Muhammad told the daily that a total of 21,449 inspections carried out by the field team in charge of following up and monitoring the implementation of health requirements in commercial activities involving women.

Engr Al-Muhammad stressed that these inspection tours are aimed to ensure all necessary health procedures and requirements are being observed in a bid to combat the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
