A whopping 2.5 million citizens and residents ‘criss-crossed’ the Kuwait International Airport during the first 5 months since the decision was issued to allow people to enter the country, provided they received the two doses of the vaccination approved by the country.

Al-Anba quoting official data revealed the figures issued by the Directorate-General Administration of Civil Aviation showed 1.377 million citizens and residents left the country, while 1.18 million passengers returned from the first of August until the end of December 2021.

The sources stated that Kuwait International Airport handled more than 22,500 flights since the lifting of travel restrictions on residents until the end of last December, with 11,228 flights coming to Kuwait and 11,276 flights leaving the country.
