Official data revealed that the total number of those subject to social insurance in Kuwait, both civilians and military personnel, increased during the first 9 months of 2022 by 18,790 people, bringing their number by the end of last September to about 669,480 citizens, compared to 650,690 in early January.
The data showed that there were about 8,376 male and female citizens who retired in the first 9 months of 2022, bringing the number of retirees to 162,020 male and female citizens at the end of last September, and the average pension for a Kuwaiti citizen increased to 1,299 dinars at the end of September, compared to 1,270 dinars at the beginning of last January, reports Al-Anba daily.
The number of insured persons increased by 9,016 male and female citizens, as their numbers reached about 413,460 thousand male and female citizens at the end of last September, compared to 404,440 at the beginning of 2022.
