As new school year 2022/2023 begins in government schools on September 11, Sunday, 123 foreign British, American, French, Pakistani, Indian and Filipino schools will begin their first school day, Sunday, September 4, where about 165,000 students and expected to return to face-to-face study after a hiatus of more than two years when the schooling was disrupted following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The sources indicated that 4 new foreign schools will enter service at the beginning of the new academic year, after new licenses were granted to them, reports a local Arabic daily.

The sources pointed out that the number of private schools is 186, including 63 Arab and 123 non-Arab, in various educational systems approved by the General Administration of Private Education, pointing out that the small number of Arab schools has caused a significant increase in student densities compared to foreign schools.

Regarding the equipment, the sources confirmed that most of the private foreign schools are adequately prepared to receive students.
