The General Department of Criminal Investigation from the Farwaniya Governorate Investigation Department, has arrested 16 people of Asian nationality for running a gambling den.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Directorate-General of Drugs Control said in the second incident six Arabs were arrested for possessing and trafficking narcotics, reports Al-Rai daily.
The security sources pointed out that this comes within the framework of the efforts of the criminal security sector to spread and implement security campaigns in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh to control the security situation and the outlaws.
The sources stated all the arrested persons have been referred to the concerned authorities.
