The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Criminal Security Affairs, Major General Hamid Al-Dawas, has sent to the Public Prosecution 15 people for trafficking in narcotic substances and imported alcohol, including 7 bedoun, three Kuwaitis, two Indians, a Bangladeshi, an Egyptian and a Syrian.

The security authorities have seized from the suspects about 16 kilos of narcotics and alcohol; 2 firearms and sums of money.

A security source said the arrests were made in Andalus, Farwaniya, Mahboula, Mangaf and Abdullah Al-Mubarak.

The source pointed out the seizures included 145 alcohol bottles and 763 narcotic pills.
