The Ministry of Interior’s recent security enforcement operations led to the arrest of 130 persons from Mahboula, Hitteen, Farwaniya, Salmiya, Khaitan, and Salwa in addition to raiding three sham domestic service agencies, employing workers on daily basis.
The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday that these rigorous inspection campaigns were executed by the General Department of Residency Affairs Investigations, with participation from the Search and Investigation Department and the Tripartite Committee Department, reports Al-Rai daily.
Among those detained, are five people caught for promoting narcotic substances, while another five were found in possession of 55 bottles of alcohol.
The operation also led to the arrest of two persons deemed medically unfit, one person engaged in massage activities inconsistent with public morals and another trafficking in drugs.
Appropriate legal actions are being initiated against these violators.
