Ahmed Al-Enezi, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Social Affairs and Director of the Public Relations Department, has announced the reopening of event halls that have undergone necessary maintenance. This decision comes into effect starting next week.

Al-Enezi elucidated that this action is in response to direct instructions issued by Sheikh Firas Al-Sabah, the Minister of Social Affairs, and the Minister of Family and Childhood. The Ministry will facilitate the reservation of 12 event halls across various governorates in the country through the ‘Occasion House’ application, with this service slated to commence in the following week, reports Al-Qabas daily.

He further noted that the Ministry has successfully carried out maintenance of these halls. Additionally, work is presently underway to finalize preparations in other halls, details of which will be disclosed at a later time.

It’s important to mention that among the halls open for reservation, a portion are designated for women, while others are intended for men. The distribution of available halls among different governorates is as follows:

Jahra Governorate: Nahar Al-Baghili Hall (Women), Sheikh Ahmed Sabah Al-Ahmad Hall (Men)
Hawalli Governorate: Sheikh Nasser Saud Al-Sabah Hall (Al-Salmiya Association) (Women), Mishref Association Hall (Men)
Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate: Al-Qurain Weddings Hall (Men), Sheikh Sabah Al-Jaber “Al-Adan” Hall for Men, Sheikh Badr Al-Muhammad Hall for Women
Capital Governorate: Hammoud Al-Zaben Hall (Women), Sheikhan Al-Farsi Hall (Men)
Farwaniya Governorate: Al-Harbash Hall (Men), Al-Omariya Association Hall (Men), Al-Firdous Association Hall (Men).
