About a week after the implementation of the decision of the Public Authority for Manpower to ban work under the direct sun from 11 am to 4 pm, the Migrant Employment Committee noted 117 violations of this decision, which means an average of about 17 violations per day, Al-Rai daily reported.

53 violations were noted against motorcycle delivery men, 27 against cleaners, and 16 against construction workers.

The committee toured several areas with ongoing construction work, visited 30 different sites, and identified 21 tents that are used as temporary homes for guards with no air conditioning for workers.
