Director of Operations Department at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Mansour Al-Hashimi, revealed in a special statement to Al-Rai that the number of passengers who left Kuwait since the beginning of the airport’s operation on August 1 so far has reached about 11,000 passengers onboard 132 flights, while the number of passengers who arrived was about 6848. Al-Hashemi revealed that most of the departing flights were to Turkey, Dubai and Doha.
