The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has succeeded in employing 10482 Kuwaiti citizens in various government agencies in 86 days from June 30 to September 24, Al-Rai daily reported.
Ahmed Al-Jassar, the head of the department, stated that the employment numbers was an achievement for CSB and government agencies, and noted during this period that those employed included 6,465 Kuwaitis with university qualifications, and 2,283 with diplomas, while those with a secondary school degree reached 1136. Meanwhile, 353 Kuwaitis employed have an intermediate or less degree, 175 have an intermediate certificate or more, and 68 have a master’s degree, and 2 Kuwaitis have a doctorate degree.
Al-Jassar regarded CSB providing employment to more than 10,000 citizens in less than three months as an achievement in light of the exceptional circumstances that Kuwait is experiencing, pointing to CSB’s ongoing endeavor to employ those registered in its program to government agencies, in line with the required specializations according to the opened positions and needs of the ministries.
