The Public Authority for Civil Information revealed that more than 100,000 Kuwaiti citizens have transferred their data to the new residential areas distributed by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare to those with housing requests since 2010 until now.

The presence of Kuwaitis in the city of Sabah Al-Ahmad, distributed over 5 suburbs, recorded 50,464 citizens who joined the total number of registered residents in Al-Ahmadi Governorate, in addition to 402 citizens registered in Al-Khairan residential.

The housing addresses of 34,016 citizens moved to the city of Jaber Al-Ahmad, whose residents were joined under the regions of the Capital Governorate, in addition to 7,803 citizens in northwest Sulaibikhat.

In the Al-Farwaniya Governorate, West Abdullah Al-Mubarak district, 5,201 citizens joined the list, while the total number of citizens whose addresses were moved to reached 4,317 despite the continuation of work on the construction of Al-Mutla’a Residential City and the readiness of a small number of its homes, 77 citizens transferred their addresses to it, while the area joined under the cover of the regions of Al-Jahra Governorate.

It is currently expected to add the South Abdullah Al-Mubarak area, in which a large number of residents have finished building their plots, with a total of 3,260 housing plots.

It is noteworthy that the total number of housing plots distributed by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare to citizens within the mentioned 7 areas amounts to 59,227 housing units.
