The Kuwait Municipality supports the Municipal Council’s decision to reduce the spring camps fees to 100 dinars instead of 300 dinars.
However, the sources told Al-Anba that the camping season that will start from November 15 and will end in March, is still waiting for official word from the Kuwait Municipality on the fee.
Minister of State for Municipal Affairs Shaya Al-Shaya wants to expedite work in this regard, and pointed to the Municipality’s delay in opening the sites for reservations at reduced camping fees. There are 20 designated camping locations in the north and south of the country.
The sources indicated that the regulatory bodies, after opening the door for reservations, will remove any camp that is erected outside the sites specified by the Municipality.
