The agent for the traffic sector, Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, revealed that the total valid driving licenses handed over to all citizens and expats amounted to 1,529,389, and the total number of vehicles registered is 2,286,759, Al Rai daily reported.
Al-Sayegh indicated that the General Traffic Department received 324 visitors in the evening every Tuesday, 4 weeks ago, in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry Lieutenant-General Issam Al-Naham, where the number of completed transactions reached 120, and the number of transactions not meeting the conditions were 154, and the number of transactions under study was 57, while there are people who have done more than one transaction will be studied carefully.
