The head of the technical committee in the Municipal Council, member Dr. Hassan Kamal, announced that “the estimated cost of the project to develop the Fahaheel Highway (Road 30) is 1.335 billion dinars, and the duration of its implementation extends for 14 years, for all stages.”
Kamal said after the committee meeting, “The length of the Fahaheel Road project is 39 km, and it includes a 36 kms of bridge, in addition to intersections, entrances and exits between both sides of the road, and the project will be implemented in 3 stages, each stage with a length equivalent to 13 km, and takes about 4 to 5 years, “stressing that” the project is important and vital, and aims to improve the quality of the existing road and develop it, taking into account the current high and future traffic density, as it extends from Kuwait City to Mina Ahmadi Road,” reports Al-Rai daily.
