Nazaha refers ‘corrupt’ Municipality officials to Prosecution

The Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has referred the supervisors and other personnel at the Kuwait Municipality to the Public Prosecution over suspected offenses, including unintentional ‘financial’ discrepancies and forgery.
Nazaha emphasized this exercise is part of an ongoing commitment to investigating credible corruption reports and expressed appreciation for the role of whistleblowers and cooperating entities, reports Al-Jarida daily.
The Authority also reaffirmed its obligation to protect informants with the highest levels of confidentiality as stipulated by law.
