Nazaha expands institutional integrity initiative with 150 participants from 36 govt agencies
The Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha) has launched the fourth phase of its Performance Project, aimed at strengthening public service ethics, enhancing institutional integrity, and promoting transparency across Kuwait’s public sector.
The initiative began with a series of specialized training workshops attended by approximately 150 participants representing working teams from 36 government entities.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Nazaha said the new phase is designed to reinforce the principles of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct within government institutions while promoting governance practices that help prevent corruption and improve institutional performance.
Four-Tier Development Framework
Participating government entities will progress through a structured four-level framework comprising Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Diamond classifications. All organizations begin at the Bronze level and advance by meeting the requirements and performance standards of each successive stage.
According to Nazaha, this phased approach is intended to establish a comprehensive institutional system that embeds public service ethics, strengthens integrity, and supports sustainable organizational development across the public sector.
Preparing Government Teams
The training workshops form part of the project’s implementation strategy, focusing on preparing government teams to meet the initiative’s objectives and requirements. Participants received detailed guidance on the project’s methodology, implementation procedures, responsibilities, timelines, and evaluation criteria.
Nazaha said the workshops are designed to unify understanding among participating entities while enhancing their ability to implement the project’s requirements efficiently and effectively.
Ongoing Technical and Advisory Support
The authority reaffirmed its commitment to providing continuous technical and advisory support throughout the project’s implementation. Dedicated follow-up teams will work closely with participating entities to address challenges, respond to inquiries, and assist government agencies in meeting project milestones.
Nazaha emphasized that this collaborative approach reflects its commitment to partnership with government institutions and to ensuring the successful implementation of the initiative.

The authority noted that the project’s long-term success depends on effective cooperation between Nazaha and participating government entities, as well as the active role of internal project teams in leading implementation efforts.
