Nazaha, CAPT unite to boost governance and transparency

In a move to reinforce efforts to combat corruption and strengthen governance standards, Dr. Rana Al-Fares, President of the Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha), visited the Central Agency for Public Tenders, accompanied by Vice President Prof. Dr. Majid Al-Daihani and board members Prof. Rania Al-Faleej, Dr. Abdullah Al-Dabbous, and Prof. Dhi Al-Otaibi.
The delegation was received by the agency’s head Essam Al-Marzouq, Deputy Head Haifa Al-Jarallah, Acting Secretary-General Anwar Al-Tawari, and Director of the Tenders and Technical Studies Department Alia Al-Kandari.
During the meeting, both sides discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation and coordination aimed at unifying national efforts to curb corruption and reinforce the principles of integrity and transparency, reports Al-Rai daily.
The discussions also focused on supporting Kuwait’s strategic direction toward adopting the highest standards of governance, which would contribute to strengthening trust among local and international stakeholders.
The initiative is expected to play a key role in improving Kuwait’s standing in global integrity and governance indicators, reflecting the country’s commitment to institutional reform, accountability, and sustainable development.
