Kuwait National Guard: Hostile drone attack targets site, no human casualties
Kuwait National Guard (KNG) Spokesperson Brigadier General Dr. Jad’an Fadhel announced Thursday that one site of the KNG has been attacked by hostile drones, causing significant material damage, and no human casualties were reported.
In a news statement, Fadhel added that the KNG relevant authorities immediately began taking security and field measures to deal with the incident. He stressed the KNG readiness and continued performing its duties professionally and efficiently as part of an integrated system to protect the vital facilities in the country.
The KNG forces, in cooperation with the army, police and the General Firefighting Force, are on high alert and fully ready to deal with any threats and confront decisively anything aiming to destabilize the country’s security, in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, stability, security, national assets and interests, he affirmed.
He urged the public to obtain information from its official sources and avoid being affected by rumors or circulating unreliable news that cause negative impacts in stirring concern among individuals in society. – Kuna
