National Guard, PAEET discuss expanding specialized training cooperation

The Undersecretary of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Engineer Hashim Al-Rifai, held a meeting with the Director General of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, Dr. Hassan Al-Fajjam, to review and activate the cooperation protocol signed between the two institutions.

The discussions focused on enhancing joint programs, updating the terms of collaboration, and increasing the scope of specialized training for National Guard personnel, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to a statement issued by the National Guard, the meeting took place during Lieutenant General Al-Rifai’s visit to the Applied Sciences University, where he underscored the importance of expanding the protocol to include new specialized training courses tailored to the operational and technical needs of National Guard members.

Lieutenant General Al-Rifai highlighted the need for continuous coordination between relevant departments from both sides, proposing regular follow-up meetings to ensure the protocol remains up-to-date and mutually beneficial. He added that the National Guard, in line with the directives of its leadership, is committed to supporting the National Applied Forces across various domains.

The collaboration reflects a broader vision to foster skill development, professional training, and knowledge exchange between the military and academic sectors, with the ultimate goal of strengthening national capabilities and preparedness.
