A series of explosions were reported in northern Tehran on today (Saturday) morning, according to an AFP correspondent, as tensions across the Middle East continue to escalate into their sixth consecutive week of conflict.
The blasts were heard at approximately 7:30 a.m. local time (4:00 GMT), and were accompanied by a persistent buzzing sound resembling that of a drone, witnesses said.
No immediate official confirmation or details regarding the cause of the explosions were available at the time of reporting.
