MoU forged between Housing Welfare & National Fund for SME’s

The General Organization for Housing Welfare signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Fund for the Care and Development of Small and Medium Enterprises with the aim of deepening cooperation and achieving mutual progress.

As reported by the Arabic daily Al Jarida, Director of Investment Department at Public Authority for Housing Welfare Ahmed Alansari commented that the memorandum will contribute to providing the necessary support to SME owners, funded by the National Fund.

Al-Ansari indicated that SMEs implemented in housing cities are not just economic initiatives but represent an integral part of the state’s strategy to enhance the role of the private sector in national development. They will contribute to creating new job opportunities for Kuwaiti youth, diversifying income sources, and reducing dependence on the government.
