MoSA advances digital transformation with 24/7 cybersecurity monitoring

The Ministry of Social Affairs, through its Computer Science Department, announced the launch of the Central Control Room, marking a major step toward strengthening cybersecurity and monitoring digital infrastructure. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s strategic plan and aligns with the “New Kuwait 2035” vision.
The Central Control Room is designed to monitor and protect servers, ensure the stability and security of the Ministry’s internet network, and offer comprehensive technical oversight services to support cooperative societies, particularly in financial and administrative supervision and strategic inventory management, according to Al-Rai daily.
The Ministry stressed that this move reflects its commitment to improving the efficiency of electronic systems, promoting governance and transparency, and delivering smart, secure services that meet the expectations of citizens and partners in the cooperative sector.
Equipped with the latest technologies and systems, the control room operates under the supervision of qualified national staff, providing 24/7 monitoring to strengthen the Ministry’s ability to respond to potential cyber threats or emergencies.
This initiative is part of a broader series of digital projects the Ministry is implementing to advance the government’s digital transformation and the development of social services across Kuwait.
