Mr. Joseph Mathew joined the UIS on October 2, 1993, as PGT Biology. From there, he steadily progressed to different roles like Head of the Department of Biology, Academic Supervisor, Vice Principal, Principal of Kindergarten, and finally, Primary Principal. The amazing line of ascent he achieved at the school as a professional indicates his commitment, dedication, and love for his job and the students under his care. Throughout, he was an outstanding team player. He was approachable and friendly to everyone.

A blend of heavy-heartedness and grateful smiles graced the occasion. The farewell ceremony was marked by an expression of love and appreciation, as the entire UIS family joined together to wish Joseph sir a happy and peaceful retired life.  Mrs. Sumam Jacob, staff secretary welcomed the guests and the audience.

Though with a note of melancholy, Joseph Sir remained calm and composed during his thanksgiving address in which he expressed gratitude to every person with whom he has associated during his term of office.
