MOI Undersecretary reaffirms commitment to empower women in police force

Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, has reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to empower women and strengthen their role across various fields of police work.

He also emphasized the importance of continued skills development and ongoing training, commending the high level of readiness and discipline demonstrated by the new graduates.

The Undersecretary said this following the oath-taking ceremony of the 13th batch of female graduates from the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, reports Al-Anba daily.

A total of 11 women successfully completed the training and qualification requirements for security work and were granted the rank of “Corporal.”

The ceremony was also attended by Brigadier General Ali Jassim Al-Wahib, Director General of the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences, and Colonel Iman Boland, Director of the Women’s Police Institute.

On the sidelines of the event, First Lieutenant Saad Nasser Al-Mahjan, Sports Training Officer at the Academy, presented a copy of his authored book titled “Self-Defense Methodology at the Saad Al-Abdullah Academy for Security Sciences – Basics of Real Martial Arts” as a gift to the Undersecretary.
