MOI organizes Gulf Traffic Week awareness campaign

The Ministry of Interior has reported that 3,850 violators have had their blocks lifted, leading to the release of 46 vehicles and 18 motorcycles from the impound garage.

This action coincides with the unified Gulf Traffic Week under the slogan “Driving without a Phone,” with awareness campaigns being conducted at the Traffic Exhibition held at Al-Khairan Mall.

Brigadier General Nawaf Al Hayyan, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Unified Gulf Traffic Week Activities, announced the commencement of an awareness exhibition at the Avenues Mall, scheduled from today, until next Thursday. The exhibition will run from 10 am to 10 pm, accompanying various activities planned for the Gulf Traffic Week.

Additionally, the General Traffic Department has announced its plan to conduct a public auction this afternoon, , at the sales center located in the Al-Ardiya Al-Harafiya area.

Sixteen vehicles, including models as recent as 2019, will be put up for sale. Prospective buyers are invited to inspect the vehicles at the Jahra police station today from eight in the morning until one in the afternoon, allowing for a five-hour inspection period.
