MOI, Army Chief discuss boosting security coordination, readiness
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahib, met Friday, in his office at the Ministry of Interior, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Daraj Saad Al-Shuraian.
During the meeting, ways of cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the General Staff of the Army were discussed, and a number of topics of common interest were reviewed, as well as ways to enhance integration between the military and security agencies, in order to support the security system, raise the level of readiness, and enhance security and stability in the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
Both sides stressed the importance of continued coordination and cooperation between military and security agencies and intensifying joint work to keep pace with current security challenges and enhance performance efficiency.
