MoI: Airspace safe, no threats detected in past 24 hours

Kuwait’s airspace remains safe, having not detected any threats or risks over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in its daily briefing on Tuesday.

Director General of the General Department of Security Relations and Media, Interior Ministry spokesperson Brigadier Nasser Bouslaib underlined that security forces remain vigilant in their efforts to protect the nation’s security and stability.

He went on to say that the ministry’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams had dealt with six reports of remaining missile shrapnel from previous air defense operations, bringing the total of such calls to 827 since the start of the Iranian onslaught against Kuwait.

The official said that Kuwait’s armed forces continue to monitor developments around the region as part of efforts to ensure maximum preparedness across state bodies to deal with any emergencies that may arise.

He concluded by praying for the continued protection of Kuwait, its people and leadership from all harm.
