MoE fully prepared for start of new school year

As Kuwait readies for back-to-school, government schools will begin their official working hours next Sunday with 97,191 male and female teachers distributed across 900 schools in all educational districts. The Ministry of Education (MoE) has completed the final touches in preparation for the start of the new school year, the latest of which is providing Al-Mutlaa schools with dozens of technical assistance devices in theaters, laboratories, and classrooms, and then linked them electronically with the ministry’s general office.

Technical devices

An educational statistic revealed that the technical equipment included 15 new schools in 5 educational districts with items like amplifiers, speakers, and microphones, confirming that the completion rate in equipping many schools reached 100 percent, as reported by the Arabic daily Al Rai.

The technical equipment was disseminated between 7 schools in Mutlaa, a kindergarten in Saad Al-Abdullah, 2 schools in the Capital Educational District, 4 in Ahmadi, and one school in Farwaniya.
In addition, an educational report indicated that most of the ministry’s sectors had completed their preparation for the school year, especially in new schools, and that the Information Systems Department had provided internet services and computers, in addition to printers, scanners, network distribution devices, points, and servers.

The report revealed close coordination between the beneficiary support and the engineering departments to install the extension of wired and wireless networks, supply and install cabins, and activate everything related to networks, servers and devices.
