Ministry withdraws retirements to retain experienced national experts

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy said that the withdrawal of 101 retirement referral decisions aims to transfer knowledge and extensive technical expertise to newly appointed national cadres.

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy stated that withdrawing retirement referral decisions aims to “benefit from national competencies with experience and expertise,” according to Al Rai newspaper.

The ministry said in a statement, commenting on the news published by Al-Rai newspaper on its electronic platforms, that the withdrawal of the decisions came “based on the ministry’s desire to benefit from national competencies with experience and specialization, with the aim of transferring their knowledge and extensive technical expertise to newly appointed national cadres.”

The ministry added that “these decisions were not effective until the date of their withdrawal,” stressing “the ministry’s full commitment to the decisions and circulars regulating this matter.”

On Tuesday evening, Al-Rai newspaper reported that Dr. Mahmoud Bushehri, the Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, issued two ministerial decisions to withdraw 101 retirement referral decisions.

Meanwhile, the state of alert that the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy has been experiencing since the beginning of the current summer season placed significant burdens on it.

By the end of Wednesday, the load index had recorded 17,430 megawatts. According to responsible sources in the ministry, who confirmed this information to Al-Rai newspaper, it can be said that the ministry has overcome the bottleneck of this season.

The sources explained that expectations indicate “the ministry has bid farewell to record electrical loads and that the countdown for a decrease in the load index has begun, with a gradual decrease in temperature anticipated according to meteorologists.”
