Informed sources revealed to Al-Rai newspaper that the Interior Ministry’s request came within a precautionary framework. The Ministry of Education reported that the relevant authorities had monitored extremist activity among some school students through the circulation of clips and publications related to the banned terrorist organizations. This situation poses a danger as it may expose them to recruitment, easy influence, and direction towards committing terrorist acts.

The sources indicated that the Ministry of Interior stressed the importance of dealing with any incident with complete confidentiality to preserve the safety of students from intrusive thoughts. They emphasized the need to inform the ministry immediately upon observing any activity among students related to extremist content or promoting banned terrorist organizations.

The sources stated that the Ministry of Education informed officials in educational districts and schools about the necessity of reporting any activity in this regard.
