Ministry rolls out new bus service for female students across Kuwait
Buses for female middle and high school students are equipped with tracking, monitored for safety, and require registration through school administration.
The Ministry of Education has announced the introduction of a school bus service for female middle and high school students across all educational areas for the 2024-2025 academic year, as reported by Al Rai newspaper.
The Ministry of Education confirmed that all school buses are equipped with a tracking service, and the movement of the buses is monitored by specialized departments in the educational areas and the ministry’s General Office to ensure student safety. It was noted that female students wishing to use the service should register with their school administration.
The concerned sector has allocated buses across all educational areas, with 100 buses for the Educational Capital Area, 100 for the Hawali Educational Area, 155 for the Al-Farwaniya Educational Area, 86 for the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Educational Area, 360 for the Al-Ahmadi Educational Area, 130 for the Jahra Educational Area, 125 for religious education institutes, 200 with standard specifications for the Department of Special Education, 40 for the Sabah Al-Ahmad Centre for Talent and Creativity, and twenty for scholarship students.
