The Ministry of Education has announced a revision of school hours for distance learning at the secondary level across public schools, special education institutions, religious education, and private schools.
In an official statement, the ministry said the decision was issued by Acting Undersecretary Engineer Muhammad Al-Khalidi as part of efforts to better organize the educational process and adapt to current developments.
Under the new schedule, the school day will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude at 1:15 PM. The timetable will include six class periods per day, each lasting 35 minutes, with educational content distributed accordingly.
The ministry noted that the revised schedule will be implemented from the date of issuance until further notice, aiming to ensure continuity in academic learning while taking into account prevailing circumstances.
Authorities concerned have been urged to adhere to the decision and ensure proper organization of the school day.
