Dr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, the Minister of Education, tasked the general education sector with assessing the needs of government schools across various educational districts, including special education and religious education schools. A standardized model was developed and distributed to all schools for this purpose, according to Al Qabas newspaper.
The ministry stated that these needs include routine and major maintenance of school buildings, air conditioners, water coolers, books, and furniture, as well as meeting the requirements of educational and administrative staff, network infrastructure, devices, and other essentials. This effort aims to develop a comprehensive executive plan to address the needs of educational institutions at all levels.
Minister Al-Tabtabaei directed the formation of task forces from relevant sectors, based on their expertise, to classify and thoroughly assess these needs and work on fulfilling them. The goal is to overcome obstacles to the educational process by developing solutions and providing the logistical and technical support necessary to sustain an effective learning environment, enhancing the experiences of both learners and teachers in the classroom.
The ministry emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between school administrations and various sectors, highlighting the need for a thorough and precise survey of all educational requirements. It explained that this initiative is essential for making informed decisions, meeting demands, and fostering an integrated and stimulating school environment that aligns with student aspirations and enhances the quality of education in all schools.
