Embassy of Peru hosts A Cultural Journey
In an enchanting celebration of culture and diversity, the Embassy of Peru in Kuwait, in collaboration with Talk Club, hosted a cultural evening titled “Discover Peru: A Cultural Journey” on November 15th, 2024.
The event, held at the premises of the Talk Club, brought together diplomats, citizens, residence in Kuwait, and cultural enthusiasts to explore the rich heritage and vibrant traditions of Peru.
Attendees were immersed in a multifaceted experience that showcased Peru’s captivating history, artistic expressions, and world-renowned culinary delights.
The evening featured a dynamic lineup of activities, including a captivating presentation on Peru’s ancient civilizations, live traditional music performance, and an art exhibit highlighting indigenous craftsmanship.
Guests also enjoyed an authentic Peruvian culinary experience, with dishes like “ceviche”, recently listed in the UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage, and “anticucho” taking center stage.
Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Pedro Javier Sedano expressed gratitude for the partnership with Talk Club, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange in strengthening ties between Peru and Kuwait.
The event successfully fostered greater appreciation for Peru’s unique identity while creating a vibrant platform for dialogue and connection.
