Ministry of Education halts transactions for those with revoked Kuwaiti citizenship

Mansour Al-Daihani, the Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, has issued a circular concerning the transactions of individuals whose Kuwaiti citizenship has been revoked, a report published in the Al Rai newspaper stated.

Al-Daihani called on all sectors and departments of the Ministry of Education to refrain from completing any transactions for individuals whose Kuwaiti nationality has been withdrawn, except according to the card issued for this category by the Central Agency for Resolving the Situations of Illegal Residents. He explained that the basis for issuance is the “withdrawal or forfeiture of Kuwaiti nationality based on the Amiri Decree.”
