Ministry of Defense launches three new services on ‘Sahel’ App
The Ministry of Defense announced today, Tuesday, the launch of three new electronic services on the unified government app for electronic services, Sahel, as part of its efforts to streamline access to national service documents.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry, the newly launched services include:
- Status Statement Certificate
- Reserve Appointment Certificate
- To Whom It May Concern (Reserve) Certificate
These digital services enable recruits and defense personnel to easily obtain official documents related to their national military service.
The Ministry clarified that the certificates serve various official purposes—such as confirming military status, documenting reserve assignments, or providing proof of completed service to government and institutional bodies.
This initiative is part of the Ministry’s ongoing digital transformation strategy aimed at enhancing service accessibility and improving administrative efficiency through smart government platforms.
