The Administrative Affairs Department has received around 750 retirement requests from various sectors of the ministry since the start of the current year, sources in the Ministry of Affairs disclosed to Al-Anbaa newspaper. They noted that the department processes approximately ten retirement requests daily from various job titles.

The sources indicated that highest percentage of retirement requests are from the social development sector, followed by the social care sector.

They believe that everyone wants to benefit from the current retirement salary amendment for fear of any future changes to the law.
