Ministry finalizes dates for 10th, 11th grade end-of-semester exams

The examinations for both the scientific and literary sections for the academic year 2023/2024 are scheduled to take place from May 15 to May 27

  • The dates for the twelfth-grade exams in both scientific and literary sections are scheduled to commence from May 29, until June 10 and the religious education exams are set to begin on May 22, and conclude on June 10.

Hessa Al-Mutawa, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education, has confirmed the dates for the end-of-semester exams for the tenth and eleventh grades, both scientific and literary sections, for the academic year 2023/2024. These exams are scheduled to run from May 15, to May 27.

Al-Mutawa also sanctioned the dates for the twelfth-grade exams in both scientific and literary sections, scheduled to commence from May 29, until June 10.
Additionally, the religious education exams are set to begin on May 22, and conclude on June 10.

Al-Mutawa mentioned that, as per the decision of the General Directives Council, an additional 15 minutes were allotted to the exam duration for each subject to allow students time for reading instructions and checking the number of papers. Furthermore, an extra 30 minutes were allocated for students with learning difficulties across all subjects.

The Holy Qur’an exam (for in-home students) for the tenth and eleventh grades in both scientific and literary sections is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, from 8 am to 9:15 am. The Constitution and Human Rights exam (for in-home students) for twelfth-grade students in both scientific and literary sections is set for Monday, May 13, from 8 am to 9:15 am.

Additionally, the Holy Qur’an exam (for in-home students) for twelfth-grade students in both scientific and literary sections will take place on Tuesday, May 14, from 8 am to 9:15 am.
