Ministry extends deadline to appoint Kuwaiti teachers to May 2
The extension by the Ministry of Education aims to provide ample opportunity for male and female teachers to complete the necessary procedures.
Anwar Al-Hamdan, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, has approved the proposal submitted by the Public Education Sector and the Department of Coordination and Follow-up to extend the deadline for appointing new male and female Kuwaiti teachers by one month.
The original deadline, which was set to end on April 4, has been extended until the end of the working day on Thursday, May 2. This extension aims to provide ample opportunity to complete the necessary procedures for newly appointed members of the educational staff between the Civil Service Commission and the Ministry of Education.
Sources revealed to Al-Anbaa newspaper that many graduates from Kuwait University’s College of Education and the College of Basic Education from Applied Sciences have been transferred from the Civil Service Commission for appointment as teachers in education. This development led to the extension of the deadline, providing all candidates with an opportunity to complete their appointment procedures without postponing them for another month, especially since the Ministry plans to open several new schools next academic year, starting in September.
